Post-Grad Life

May 7,2016
I graduated from Earlham College with a Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience. My parents and my uncle family were able to attend my graduation. I am so happy that my parents got a chance to come to the United States and experienced the western culture and different dynamics. Time flies. My parents left me in June. My post-grad life began.

June
My uncle was sick. He was diagnosed with hepatocellular carcinoma last year this time, and now, in hospice care with stage 2 lung cancer. Family grieved. Dying is not easy. It's a learning experience. My life moved on. I moved to Philadelphia. I found an apartment in West Philly - close to U Penn, pretty safe, cheap but a nice house. I am lucky that everything goes smoothly for me. I got a job, got departmental and college honors, and I work at the most prestigious place - University of Pennsylvania. Did I mention that I have been on two blind dates?

This is a year of exploring what's out there! A year that I will discover my love, develop new skills, most importantly, grow to be a better person. Now, I am gonna get back to work.
